• The “Small Carving Hatchet” is a great lightweight carving hatchet. The face has a 2-3/8″ cutting edge made of the highest quality Swedish steel available. This beauty of an axe has been designed in consultation with woodworkers. The handle is specially carved is designed to give woodworkers a better grip. Thanks to it’s light weight. the axe is excellent for carving small details. The Small Carving Hatchet comes as standard with a double-sided ground edge. The blade is sharpened polished for a fine beautiful finish. Hatchet includes a handsome grain leather sheath. 

     Each axe head is hand-forged from special Swedish steel which is then honed. tempered. annealed to the perfect hardness by the experienced Gränsfors Bruk Swedish smiths who stamp their initials on the head. creating a one-of-a-kind masterpiece you’ll treasure for years to come.
